The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 by the promised day, 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 And He only is the Oft Forgiving, the Beloved of His bondmen. 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
