The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I CALL TO witness the heavens and the night Star -- 1 And what could make thee conceive what it is that comes in the night? 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 There is not a soul that does not have a guardian over it. 4 Now let man but think from what he is created! 5 He is created from a water gushing forth. 6 issuing from between the backbone and the breastbone: 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 On the day when hidden thoughts shall be searched out. 9 He shall have neither strength nor helper. 10 So I call to witness the rain-producing sky, 11 And the earth which opens up (with verdure), 12 this is indeed a Decisive Word, 13 It is no pleasantry. 14 Behold, they [who refuse to accept it] devise many a false argument [to disprove its truth]; 15 And I (too) will make a scheme. 16 So grant the unbelievers a respite: let them alone for a while. 17
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
