The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
