The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
