The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
