The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
