The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
