The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
