The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
