The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
