The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
