The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
