The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
