The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
