The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
