The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The All High (Al-A'alaa). Sent down in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
