The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
