The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
