The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 Raging Fire. 11
