The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sun and his morning brightness 1 And by oath of the moon when it follows the sun 2 by the day, when it displays it, 3 And by oath of the night when it hides it 4 By the Firmament and its (wonderful) structure; 5 By the earth and Him Who spread it forth, 6 and by the soul and that (Power) which designed it 7 then inspired it to understand what was right and wrong for it. 8 He has succeeded who purifies it, 9 and those who corrupt their souls will certainly be deprived (of happiness). 10 Thamud denied [their prophet] by reason of their transgression, 11 When the most wretched of them was sent forth. 12 The Messenger of God told them, "This is a she-camel, belonging to God. Do not deprive her of her share of water". 13 But they belied him, and hamstrung her. So their Lord crushed them for their sin and leveled it (their village). 14 He dreadeth not the sequel (of events). 15
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
