Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
