Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of the late morning, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
