Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the morning hours 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
