Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the white forenoon 1 and the brooding night! 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
