Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
