The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 And indeed your Lord will soon give you so much that you will be pleased. (Allah seeks to please the Holy Prophet peace and blessings be upon him.) 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
Almighty God's Truth.
