Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
