The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11
