Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 And We removed from you your burden 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 have We not given you high renown? 4 Indeed, there is ease with hardship. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
