Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 have We not given you high renown? 4 Indeed, hardship is followed by ease, 5 With difficulty is surely ease. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
