Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Have We not lifted up your heart, 1 And eased thee of the burden 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 and be devoted to your Lord's service. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
