Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Did We not expand thy breast for thee 1 And taken off from you your burden, 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 And exalted thy fame? 4 So truly with hardship comes ease, 5 With hardship indeed there is ease. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
