Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), have We not comforted your heart, 1 and lift from thee thy burden, 2 Which weighed down your back? 3 and granted you an exalted reputation? 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 Then when thou becometh relieved, toil; 7 And incline towards your Lord. 8
