Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 And removed your burden 2 that weighed so heavily on your back, and 3 And exalted thy fame? 4 Indeed, hardship is followed by ease, 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]. 7 And turn to your Lord with all your love. 8
