Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

۞ Have We not lifted up your heart, 1 and lift from thee thy burden, 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So, when you are free, strive hard, 7 and unto thy Sustainer turn with love. 8
