Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up your breast 1 And taken off from you your burden, 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 And exalted your fame? 4 After every difficulty there is relief. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]. 7 And unto thine Lord, attend. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
