The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

I swear by the fig and the olive, 1 And by oath of Mount Sinai, 2 And by this land made safe; 3 We have indeed created man in the best of mould, 4 Then We render him the lowest of the low. 5 Except those who accepted faith and did good deeds – for them is a never ending reward. 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not God the most equitable of all judges? 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
