The Fig (Al-Teen)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the Fig and the Olive, 1 and the Mount, Sinai, 2 And by this city of security (Makkah). 3 We have certainly created man in the best of stature; 4 Then We reduced him to the lowest of the low, 5 except the believers who do good works, for theirs shall be an unfailing recompense. 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not Allah the Greatest of the rulers? 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
