The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
READ in the name of thy Sustainer, who has created 1 Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood: 2 Read! Your Lord is the Most Generous, 3 Who teacheth by the pen, 4 taught the human what he did not know. 5 By no means: Verily man exorbitateth. 6 because he thinks that he is independent. 7 However, (all things) will return to your Lord. 8 What do you think? Have you seen he who forbids 9 A slave when he prayeth? 10 Do you think he is rightly guided, 11 or if he commands others to maintain piety!? 12 Seest thou if he denies (Truth) and turns away? 13 Does he not know that Allah does see? 14 Indeed, if he does not desist, We will seize him by the forelock, 15 A lying, sinful forehead. 16 Then let him call upon his henchmen! 17 We will call on the angels of punishment (to deal with him)! 18 Yes indeed; do not listen to him – and prostrate, and become close to Us. (Command of Prostration # 14) ۩ 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
