Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed this [divine writ] on Night of Destiny. 1 And what have you understood, what the Night of Destiny is! 2 The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. 3 The angels along with the Spirit descend in it by the permission of their Lord with all kinds of decrees. 4 Peace it is, till the rising of dawn. 5
