Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the idolaters would never desist until the Clear Proof came to them. 1 An messenger from Allah, rehearsing scriptures kept pure and holy: 2 Wherein are all the right ordinances. 3 And those who were given the Book did not become divided except after clear evidence had come to them. 4 And they have been commanded no more than this: To worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being true (in faith); to establish regular prayer; and to practise regular charity; and that is the Religion Right and Straight. 5 Surely the unbelievers among the people of the Book and the idolaters, will abide in the fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures. 6 (As for) those who believe and do good, surely they are the -best of men. 7 Their reward with their Lord is 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity), underneath which rivers flow, they will abide therein forever, Allah Well-Pleased with them, and they with Him. That is for him who fears his Lord. 8
