The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
