The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
