The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8
