Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 They said, "Do not be afraid. We come to you with good news. You shall have a son who shall be endowed with great knowledge." 53 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" 54 They said: We give you good news with truth, therefore be not of the despairing. 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 Abraham said: "What then is the business on which ye (have come), O ye messengers (of Allah)?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 Except Lot's family, of whom we shall save all, 59 "Other than his wife who, it is decreed, will remain with those who will stay behind." 60
