The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
