The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
