Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
