Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
