The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
